Phil and I were delighted to find out that our shop has been shortlisted for a retail award known as a Reta! We have been nominated in the category for 'Best greeting card retail newcomer or new branch - North'. The winners will be announced at an event in London on the 14th July, so we will keep our fingers crossed we are successful in winning the award! I am delighted that our little shop in Robin Hood's Bay reopened on the 12th April. As long as we are not required to close again due to lockdowns we will be open from 10am every day until at least the end of October. I was delighted to be interviewed for the Yorkshire Post recently. The article focuses on my partner Phil and I's shop in Robin Hood's Bay, which we opened on the 31st July 2020. The Henries awards take place each year and are the greeting card industry's answer to the Oscars! Card companies both big and small enter their latest or updated ranges and around 60 buyers judge each category. I was first shortlisted in 2013, for the most promising young designer award and have entered various categories every year since. The awards are usually presented at a West London hotel, where the industry comes together for a night of partying - it's a real highlight of the year.
